Every month, AnTuTu publishes a new edition of the ranking of the fastest phones on the market. The new top 10 is dominated by Xiaomi.

2021 has not even started well, and the creators of the AnTuTu benchmark have published a new edition of the top 10 fastest phones. As a reference, this ranking starts from the fastest gadgets tested in the last month through the platform, with the mention that the terminals in question must be commercially available. If you can’t buy them and they are just prototypes, their presence in the top is not taken into account.

The new top 10 takes into account the information collected between December 1 and December 31, 2021. The scores included in the ranking represent an average among the first 1000 fastest phones tested in each model.

At the moment, Xiaomi Mi 11 is the fastest phone in the world, a privileged position that it has come to occupy mainly due to the processor inside. As a reference, the gadget is the first and only one equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor. It is closely followed by the former leader of the ranking, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro, both created by Huawei and equipped with a Kirin 9000 SoC.

Unfortunately for Samsung, there is no phone in the new top 10 equipped with an Exynos processor. On the other hand, this reality was predictable, given that the fastest SoC developed by South Koreans was slower than Snapdragon 865 and much slower than 865. Finally, the new top 10 fastest phones is dominated by three Chinese brands, Xiaomi, Huawei and Vivo.

On the area of mainstream gadgets, as you can see in the ranking below, there is a little more diversity in terms of brands. Even so, the top eight positions are occupied by Xiaomi and Huawei gadgets. As a reference, although Honor has become an independent brand in the meantime, at the time of making the top gadgets, it is still active under Huawei.
